School Sound Systems

School Sound System Installation

Sound systems that are installed into school halls and theatres are often fitted either side of the stage to the walls or mounted to lighting bars or ceiling joists. It’s important to position the speakers in the hall so that as much of the direct sound is aimed at the audience and keep the reflected sound to a minimum. In large school halls & theatres one can install additional speakers to improve the coverage of the sound system. These are often referred to as delay speakers as the sound coming from them is delayed to ensure it is in sync with the main speaker system.

Do I need a School PA System or School Sound System

Put simply PA stands for Public address and is normally referred to as a system installed for speech reinforcement and background music. Normally a PA system does not need to be as full sounding as a system designed to be used in the school hall, theatre or drama room. A PA system is often installed into school corridors, classrooms and offices. If you wish to make announcements or play music outside we can install weatherproof PA speakers and horns.

Portable Sound Systems

These are great if you are unable to install a permanent sound system due to cost or listed building restrictions or simply wish to be able to use the sound system in various locations. We provide portable speaker systems ranging from battery powered single mic systems through to full range, portable sound systems including bass bins with multiple mic inputs for both announcements and music performances.
