Stage Track & Curtains Systems

Stage curtains are not only an essential part of any theatre but can turn an average looking stage area into a professional performance space. We are able to offer a range of curtain fabric options to suit both the size of the stage area required and the budget you have. Stage curtains are typically mounted from a heavy duty overlap track that we can install from an existing grid or mount from the ceiling or proscenium arch. We can supply bespoke tailor made curtains incorporating popular fabrics such as Velour, Dimalan and Wool Serge. We provide custom made stage curtains for schools, village halls, theatres, including side curtains, backdrops and stage valance curtains as well.

We offer these stage curtains in a broad selection of colours and fullness and they can have chain weights fitted into the seems to help ensure they hang correctly. Stage curtains can also be provided both flat or with pleats (known as fullness) and most stages like to have 33 or 50% fullness.

If you wish curtains can be made to have your school crest or logo printed on the front and these are priced individually subject to the complexity of the design and number of colours etc. 

Many school studios and drama rooms like to incorporate perimeter curtains to help improve both the look of the space and also the acoustics. These tend to be fitted on a single run track and can be pulled around the perimeter if open areas are required.

We install the Doughty Engineering curtain track systems and these come in range different gauges to suit the size and weight of the curtains that are being suspended. Most stage curtains are opened and closed with a simple hauling line but we can also provide hand winches as well.
